Yes. Schools and districts can send push notifications directly through the Edlio app.

Is the app customizable for our school or district?

Yes. Each app is custom-branded with your school or district’s logo, colors, and name.

How do families download and log into the app?

Families can download the app from the Apple App Store or Google Play. Login instructions can be shared by the district.

Is the mobile app available in multiple languages?

Yes. The app supports over 40 languages to ensure accessibility for diverse families. Families just need to select their preferred language when they download the app & they will receive all their updates & information in that language.

You can send emails, text messages, voice calls, and app push notifications—all from one platform.

Can we send voice calls, emails, texts, and app alerts?

Yes. Edlio’s mass communication tool supports all of these channels.

How does Edlio help us reach non-English-speaking families?

Edlio offers automated message translation into 40+ languages.

Can we schedule messages ahead of time?

Yes. You can schedule messages to go out at a specific time or date.

Does Edlio’s platform support recurring automated messages?

Yes. With Auto Notices, you can set up recurring messages (such as low lunch balance or absence notifications) to be triggered by updates in your SIS.

Can we see who opened or read our messages?

Yes. Edlio’s reporting tools show delivery and engagement metrics, such as opens and clicks.

How will we know if families are using the app?

Edlio’s app & mass communication dashboard will show you how many families have downloaded the app & also if any parents are using the app but are not currently connected to a student.

Edlio Accessibility is an AI-powered tool that scans your school website for ADA and WCAG issues and applies automated fixes in real-time.

How does the accessibility checker work?

It scans your website, flags any compliance issues, and applies automated code corrections where possible.

Will Edlio fix accessibility issues automatically?

Yes. As soon as you add new content to your website’s News or Pages, the tool can automatically fix many common accessibility issues and generate a report of what’s been corrected.

Does Edlio help us comply with ADA, WCAG, and state laws?

Yes. Edlio is designed according to WCAG standards and our built-in, AI-powered accessibility tool is designed to help meet federal and state-level compliance requirements for all new content you add to your website.

How often does the accessibility tool scan our site?

The AI tool is embedded in Pages & News, so as you add new content in those categories, you can automatically scan that content with the click of a button, and in one more click you can fix the errors with AI. For existing Edlio customers who add the AI accessibility tool, it will scan all existing content as soon as it is activated, and flag content where it finds errors.
