The Edlio team had an amazing experience at the National School Public Relations Association (NSPRA) annual conference in New Orleans last week. We reflect on that experience, and how we’re taking that momentum into the 26-27 school year.
NSPRA always leaves us energized, and this year was really special for our team, as we brought members from our Product, Client Success, Sales, and Marketing teams to connect with and learn from comms leaders across the country who are engaging families and communities every day.

Celebrating Wins and Sharing Predictions
The Edlio booth at NSPRA this year was centered around inviting people in to connect. The Conversation Wall gave comms leaders a chance to celebrate their wins from the 25-26 school year, and share their predictions for where school communications are headed.

There were some clear themes in what they shared that were echoed in conversations we had throughout the event:
Win: We heard over an over again that getting to attend NSPRA was a huge win for comms leaders, for both professional development and community-building.
Prediction: AI is going to continue to impact comms, both as a tool in the work and a conversation that is happening with each school community.
Challenge: Comms leaders are taking on more responsibilities, often with fewer resources. One example–many comms leaders are looked to as the accessibility experts in their school or district, but are not receiving the training and support they need.
Addressing the Challenges Through Innovation
Everything we are building at Edlio is designed to address the challenges that education and comms leaders are facing. At NSPRA 2026 we gave attendees a live look at new innovations to the Edlio platform that will help them increase accessibility, get more out of the tools they have, and be strategic about their use of AI this year and beyond, including:
PDF Remediation for Accessibility: now you can instantly improve PDF accessibility right from within the Edlio CMS, as well as convert to HTML versions that are screen reader-friendly and feature multilingual support.
Secure Document Delivery for Mass Comms: schools can send sensitive communications with confidence, knowing they're protected every step of the way.
Edlio Agents for CMS: teams can save time without adding complexity through AI built specifically for K-12 communications. Design Agent is launching this fall.
UX Updates: we’ve made enhancements across the Edlio platform to flow and functionality, for a faster, cleaner, easier to manage experience.

Connecting Across the Country
Edlio’s networking social on Monday night brought together comms leaders from districts big and small across the county. It was great hearing about their school communities, where family and community engagement is at right now, and their perspectives on how they approach the work each day.

Continuing the Conversation
Just because NSPRA 2026 is over doesn’t mean the conversation is! We will continue celebrating wins, sharing insights, and addressing challenges in partnership with comms leaders this coming school year and beyond. Stay tuned for more details, as we’ve got more exciting announcements ahead!
And of course, we’re heading back to NSPRA in 2027. We can’t wait to see everyone in Indianapolis next July!
